Maybe not posting in nearly 4 years has contributed to this blog not having any followers at all. In the future look for some documentation on some interesting projects. I will be building a 1/4 size cello modeled after a Montagnana and a new full size Tecchler cello model. The small cello will be for my son's next cello, and I am making the new Tecchler model because I can't leave well enough alone. This will be my 6th cello and my 4th different model. Stay tuned.

More Kids Than Violins

Our family got bigger recently. We brought our daughter Maya home from Guatemala after completing her adoption to join her brother Silas here at home. She just became 1 and Silas is nearly 2.5. If anyone has been looking here for action in the new shop, that will come soon. Can you blame me for wanting to spend time with these two?!

Here's the view of the new violin shop from the rear patio of my home. The extensive renovation is nearly complete, and I have been working here since June. Its nice to have my own space to work in again. Please check in for updates on instruments I'm currently building.
